Here’s when you can get a $1 breakfast at IKEA stores in Ottawa and across Canada

You can celebrate Valentine’s Day at IKEA stores in Ottawa and across Canada with a $1 breakfast and a shopping trip.

IKEA Canada announced Swedish Restaurants at all IKEA locations in Canada will offer a $1 traditional breakfast to IKEA family members on Saturday from store opening until 11 a.m.

“Cooking and eating at home continue to play a central role in how Canadians live today,” Rob Kelly, Chief Commercial Officer of IKEA Canada, said in a statement.

“This year, we’re focused on helping people create kitchens and mealtime routines that truly support everyday life. We know that many Canadians are navigating rising costs and looking for affordable, sustainable solutions, and our goal is to make it easier to prepare and enjoy real meals at home—no matter the budget or living situation.”

IKEA says all proceeds from the $1 breakfast will be donated to Breakfast Club of Canada, which provides children a nutritious meal to start the day.

The Swedish retailer says the $1 breakfast is among “several special offers” available in its stores this weekend, which includes 20 per cent off cooking and eating, dining and outdoor dining items, 20 per cent of dining furniture and 15 per cent off sofas and sofa beds.

It is free to join the IKEA Family members program.
