Cooler weather with a chance of flurries in Ottawa on Easter Monday

Double-digit highs are coming back, but it’ll be another couple of days.

Environment Canada’s weather forecast for the capital calls for a high of 4 C on Easter Monday with a 40 per cent chance of flurries in the morning.

The typical high for this time of year is around 9 C.

Overnight, expect a few flurries and a low of -7 C, about six degrees colder than normal.

Tuesday’s forecast calls for 2 to 4 centimetres of snow and a high of 0 C, followed by a low of -9 C overnight.

Wednesday is looking sunny with a high of 7 C and a low of -2 C.

Those more springlike temperatures are back in the long-term outlook, with Thursday, Friday and the coming weekend looking warmer than average.
