Saskatchewan RCMP are asking the public to help find 31-year-old Kevin Watt, who has been charged in connection to a recent kidnapping. Watt has been charged with one count of kidnapping with a firearm and one count of failing to comply with an undertaking condition. He is described as five foot, 11 inches tall, weighing 198 pounds, with blue eyes and short brown hair. Police say he may be driving a grey 2009 Chevrolet Impala with a Saskatchewan license plate 402 NRJ with a damaged windshield and front bumper. The direction of travel is unknown. He is a frequent traveller to Loon Lake, Lloydminster, St. Walburg and Maidstone. The subject of the kidnapping, a 30-year-old woman, was found safe by officers around an hour after the RCMP’s initial call for assistance Monday morning. Police warn members of the public not to approach Watt if spotted. Anyone with information that could aid investigators is encouraged to contact RCMP or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers. The Saskatchewan RCMP Battlefords Serious Crimes Unit continues to investigate.
