Highway 11 has partially reopened following a two-vehicle collision that forced a full closure of the route Wednesday afternoon. Ontario Provincial Police first announced the closure on social media shortly after 4 p.m., advising motorists that all lanes were blocked near Spruce Drive in Temagami North while emergency crews responded to the incident. Just under an hour later, shortly before 5 p.m., OPP issued an update confirming that traffic is once again moving through the area. “Highway 11 has reopened in one lane with alternating traffic,” OPP said.
