Global superstar Ariana Grande is encouraging young Quebecers to head to the polls come October to vote in the provincial election. On her Instagram, the 33-year-old singer wrote: “At each stop on The Eternal Sunshine Tour, The Brighter Days Ahead Foundation is shining a spotlight on local organizations we believe in.” One of those organizations is Apathy is Boring, which educates and encourages young people to engage in democracy. During her stop in Montreal, Grande is also highlighting AGIR Montreal, which works to protect and aid 2SLGBTQIA+ migrants with housing, employment, education and more; and Women on Web, an international telemedicine service working to destigmatize and decriminalize abortion and women’s health. Grande is set to perform two more nights at the Bell Centre, on July 30 and 31. Anyone attending the concert who wishes to pledge to vote can visit Section 111 (near door 11).
