Fog advisory in effect for Greater Sudbury

Environment Canada has issued a fog advisory for Greater Sudbury extending through Tuesday morning.

Dense fog is expected, with near zero visibility in some areas early this morning.

“There could be some patchy freezing drizzle in addition to the fog that could make travel hazardous,” Environment Canada said.

“Travel will likely be hazardous. Be prepared for areas of near-zero visibility and allow extra time to reach your destination. If driving, turn on your lights, slow down and maintain a safe following distance.”
