Numerous vehicles broke down or were stalled on Highway 20 (Route 132) in Longueuil on Montreal’s South Shore on Tuesday morning. The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) says circulation has since been reestablished, but had asked road users to avoid Highway 20 eastbound between kilometres 79 and 89 near the Highway 25 bridge-tunnel. According to Quebec 511, a truck broke down at 8:59 a.m. on the eastbound Route 132 near Highway 25, and towing is in progress. Additionally, a vehicle broke down at 8:34 a.m. on the eastbound Route 132 near Roland Therrien Boulevard; it has been towed. A bus was halted and towed at 7:53 a.m. from the left lane of the eastbound Route 132 near Highway 25. A vehicle also lost control at 6:53 a.m. on Route 132 near Jean-Paul-Vincent Boulevard.
