Quebec police arrest 12 suspects in drug trafficking operation targeting Hells Angels

Quebec provincial police say 12 people were arrested Wednesday after a series of raids were conducted in several cities across the province as part of an investigation into the Hells Angels.

The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) said 10 men and two women between the ages of 22 and 68, “including the ringleader,” were arrested by the SQ organized crime squad, ENRCO, for alleged offences committed between 2020 and 2025, the force said in a press release.

The accused face charges of trafficking and possession for the purpose of trafficking substances, such as cocaine and methamphetamines, distribution of cannabis, unauthorized possession of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon, negligent storage of a firearm, possession of criminally obtained property, possession of criminally obtained property for the purpose of trafficking, laundering the proceeds of crime, and breaching a prohibition order.

The investigation started in 2024 involving 50 police officers.

“The arrests are linked to searches conducted in February, May and December 2025,” the SQ said on Wednesday. “[They] are mainly targeting members of a network, which operates under the umbrella of the Quebec chapter of the Hells Angels.”

Several police forces were involved in the operation, including forces in Quebec City, Lévis, Longueuil, Mirabel, and the Sept-Îles Joint Task Force.

The SQ said ENRCO’s mandate is to target organized crime leaders, including the outlaw biker gang.
