The long weekend is upon us. Here’s what will be open and closed on Monday’s statutory holiday, also known as Victoria Day, Patriot’s Day or Planting Day.

Closed on Monday:

• Banks
• MMFA, McCord Steward and MAC museums
• Canada Post offices
• Montreal Service Canada Centre offices, such as Passports Canada
• Quebec government offices such as the SAAQ
• Access Montreal offices
• City of Montreal permit counters, administrative offices, and municipal courts

Open on Monday:

• Ecocentres
• City waste collection
• Montreal’s 311 line
• Espace de Vie locales - Biosphere, Biodome, Insectarium, Botanical Gardens, Planetarium
• Arenas, swimming pools, libraries, cultural centres, community centres, and sports facilities schedules vary by borough. Check here for more information.
• Most malls and shopping centres
• Public markets
• Société des alcools du Québec (SAQ) and Société québécoise du cannabis (SQDC)
