Trudeau Airport slowdowns caused by computer glitch

Those flying to the U.S. from Trudeau airport Monday morning faced a test of patience as longer line ups than usual.

Baggage conveyor belts and other systems related to processing luggage stopped working due to a computer problem.

The issue started around 4:30 a.m. and only affected flights bound for the U.S. on U.S. airlines. It was resolved by 10 a.m.

Passengers with carry-on bags are able to board flights normally, but passengers with checked baggage are being delayed by manual inspections.

Trudeau Airport said the average delay to departure time topped out at 45 minutes.
