A high school student has died after being struck by a truck in Saint-Hyacinthe, southeast of Montreal. Quebec provincial police (SQ) said that the 13-year-old girl was struck by a semi truck around 1:30 p.m. on Laframbroise Boulevard. She was pronounced dead on the scene. The SQ said that the truck driver apparently did not see the cyclist. He was treated for shock on site. With files from CTV News’ Max Harrold
