Royal West students make video supporting teacher's union

Students at Montreal's Royal West Academy made a video to protest against the suspension of extracurricular activities during a work-to-rule protest by the teacher's union.

Some grade 11 students at Royal West Academy are making their own statement about teacher's work-to-rule pressure tactics.

The students created a video and posted it to the Students for Schools Facebook page on Friday.

They are asking schools to reinstate extracurricular activities after the English Montreal School Board announced those activities would be put on hold earlier this week.

The students who created the video  say they support the teachers and oppose recent government cuts to education.
