A manual of flood resources: where to go and who to call

From the Outaouais all the way to the Gaspé, more than 146 municipalities across the province are affected by historic flooding: 2,426 homes are flooded, over 1500 people have evacuated, and the questions pile up as the water levels rise.

For that reason, we've put together a compendium of resources and answers to minimize the strain of the current situtation.

School closures:

A number of schools throughout the area are cancelling classes due to the flooding. Your best bet is to check the school or school board's website, Facebook pages, or listen for radio updates.

Mental health resources:

Psychologists and other mental health professionals are working in flooded areas to help those who are on edge. Please make use of them if you need assistance. More information here.
