Warning: This article contains details that may be disturbing and triggering to readers. A Barrie man and woman charged following the Nov. 2024 death of an infant in Innisfil have been granted bail. Days after 31-year-old Anthony Fasullo was released from custody, charged with manslaughter, his 26-year-old co-accused, Morgan Crouse, was granted bail Tuesday. Crouse is accused of failing to provide the necessities of life following the death of a four-month-old baby two years ago at a home in Innisfil. Fasullo, who was granted bail on a pledge of $6,000 Friday, will be under curfew and is ordered not be alone with or in the position to care for a child. Crouse was granted bail on a $4,000 promise to pay by a loved one who will act as her surety. The charges against Fasullo and Crouse, come nearly two years after investigators with South Simcoe police were called to a home along Algonquin Avenue Nov. 8, 2024. Police confirmed the infant died two days later at Sick Kids in Toronto. Police said evidence gathered during the 18-month investigation led to charges being filed against Fasullo and Crouse. Any evidence heard during the bail proceedings is protected by a publication ban. Fasullo and Crouse had been previously arrested by provincial police in Tottenham last January and faced a slew of charges including possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. Those charges were either stayed or withdrawn by the Crown. Fasullo is scheduled to return to a virtual Bradford courthouse in June, Crouse makes her next appearance in August. The allegations against the accused have not been tested in court.
