Postal workers’ opportunity to vote on Canada Post’s final offer ends on Friday at 5:00 p.m. “It’s a direct assault on our unions right to represent our members and our collective bargaining rights,” said Tish Glenn, president of Local 630. She is encouraging workers to reject the offer. With more than 500 local postal workers, Glenn says Canada Post isn’t an out-dated service. “For some people, you know, especially folks that, you know, can’t get out of their homes, they look forward to seeing a postal worker, because sometimes that’s the only interaction through the day that they have is us,” said Glenn.
