OPP say the body of a missing swimmer has been recovered in Lambton County. The 66 year old from London was reported missing just before 3 p.m. Friday. They were last seen at the dock attached to an address on Canal Street in Grand Bend. The Underwater Search and Recovery Unit with the Lambton Marine Unit located the body of the missing swimmer around 1:45 p.m. Saturday. No further details have been made available at this time. Additionally, OPP say a second, unrelated, missing swimmer in Lake Huron at the Pinery Provincial Park has been recovered. Just before 3 p.m. Saturday, Lambton OPP received a report of another missing swimmer who was last seen at the Pinery Provincial Park beach. The OPP Marine Unit and Underwater Search and Recovery Unit recovered the body at approximately 8:20 p.m. The deceased individual is a 36-year-old from Scarborough.
