Masked suspect in red spandex suit sought after machete robbery

Police in West Grey are asking for the public’s help in identifying a robbery suspect after DNA evidence failed to return any results.

According to police, the robbery happened around 3 a.m. on July 19, 2025.

Officers were sent to a panic alarm at the Circle K at 13553 Bruce Road 10 where police said a man entered the store armed with a large machete.

The suspect showed the weapon to the store clerk and demanded cash from the register.

Suspect description

• Man
• Approximately 5’10” to 6’0” tall
• Slim build
• Wearing a red full-body spandex suit covering the head and face

Anyone with information, who recognizes the suspect or clothing, or who observed suspicious activity in the area during the early morning hours of July 19, 2025, is asked to contact West Grey Police Service at 519-369-3046.
