London police warning a high-risk offender is living in the city

According to London police, a high-risk offender has been released from custody after serving a custodial sentence for two counts of breach of probation and two counts of criminal harassment and will be residing in the London area.

Johannes Wilhelmus Laning, 48, has a history of criminal harassment, stalking, and sexual-related offences targeting children, police warn.

He is described as male, white, approximately 181 lbs, 5’9” with brown hair and brown eyes.

Laning is currently serving a two-year probation term.

During his probation, he has been instructed not to be in the company of or communicate withfemales under the age of 16 years. Additionally, he cannot attend any public park or swimming area where persons under the age of 16 years are present or can be reasonably be expected to be present.
