A London man has been charged after posting intimate photos of a woman online without her consent.

A London man has been charged after allegedly publishing intimate images of a woman online without her consent last summer.

According to a news release, an investigation began in August 2025 after a woman reported that intimate images had been published online without her consent.

Police say as the investigation continued, police discovered additional intimate photos that had been posted online without her consent.

On April 19, the suspect male was located and arrested in the area of Oxford Street and Woodward Avenue.

A search warrant was executed, and police say “numerous” cellular devices and data storage devices were seized.

As a result of the investigation, a 43-year-old London man has been charged with one count of publishing intimate images without consent.

“The individual who had the images posted online actually contacted police in relation to this particular investigation. Now, it was a lengthy investigation, and officers actually obtained additional information that more photos were posted after the original complaint came in. So this individual was arrested and charged as of this weekend,” explained Sgt. Sandasha Bough of the London Police Service.

Police say the accused will not be named as doing so could potentially identify the victim.

The accused is scheduled to appear in London court on June 3 in relation to the charge.

“Publishing intimate images of another person without their consent is a criminal offence,” police said. “The London Police Service encourages anyone who may be a victim of the non-consensual distribution of intimate images to report the incident to police.”
