Lane restrictions on Adelaide Street North beginning Monday

Adelaide Street North will have lane restrictions this week, affecting your morning commutes.

Starting at 9 a.m. on Monday, Adelaide Street North will be closed for southbound traffic from Cheapside Street to Oxford Street.

Northbound, lanes will be reduced to one from Oxford Street East to Grosvenor Street. The work is for emergency sewer repairs.

The construction is anticipated to be finished by 7 p.m. on Wednesday. Detour routes will be posted for those driving in the area.

Sidewalks will stay open.
