Flatbed truck crashes into utility pole in Tavistock; no injuries reported

No injuries were reported after a flatbed truck collided with a utility pole in Tavistock early Monday morning.

Police responded to Woodstock Street North in Tavistock at 6:45 a.m. following the report of a fled bed truck crashing into a utility pole.

In an update early afternoon, police say a 63-year-old resident of Dorchester has been charged with careless driving.

Woodstock Street North between Line 29 and Hope Street was closed until mid‑afternoon to allow crews to repair the pole.
