Fatal fire on Huron Street not suspicious

A fire that claimed the life of a woman on Thursday is not considered suspicious.

The cause of fire that happened at 3:40 a.m. at 630 Huron St. is still under investigation.

The Ontario Fire Marshal and west region coroner continue to look into the cause of death and how the fire started.

A 60-year-old woman, Theresa Bourdeau, was found in her apartment unit by members of the London fire department. She could not be revived.

The London police continue to provide assistance to the coroner and the fire marshal as required.
