One person was killed Friday evening in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 69 near Parry Sound. Ontario Provincial Police responded around 10:30 p.m. June 5, with help from the Anishinabek Police Service. The collision took place on Highway 69 near Highway 522 in Henvey Inlet First Nation. The highway was closed for several hours but has since reopened, the OPP said in a news release June 6. The investigation is ongoing with the assistance of the OPP traffic incident management enforcement team. “Further information will be provided when available,” police said.
