Early morning crash sends 7 to hospital

Fire crews, paramedics and police responded to a serious collision early Saturday morning.

The incident happened at Trafalgar Street and Condor Court at approximately 3:30 a.m.

“Two vehicles were involved. Of those two vehicles, there were eight people inside those vehicles, seven of which were transported to hospital with various injuries from minor to serious and potentially life threatening. One person was uninjured,” said Insp. Jeff Ordronneau with the London Police Service.

The area remains closed as police investigate the incident.

“We’re still in the initial stages of the investigation … and we’ll be able to provide more details as the day and evening progresses. Our road safety section has trained professionals that do accident reconstruction. Part of that is having a drone up in the air to obtain aerial photographs of the scene,” added Ordronneau.
