Charges have been laid after a crash that turned fatal in London, Ont. According to police, the accused is in custody in another jurisdiction, so charges have been laid by way of warrant of arrest. Randy Dale Jones, 44, of Manitowaning on Manitoulin Island, is facing several charges. As previously reported, Around 3 p.m. on Sept. 10, officers saw a truck being driven with a person in the bed of it, in the area of King and Maitland streets. Police said when the officer tried to pull the vehicle over, it fled and ended up being involved in a crash in the area of Queen and William streets. The driver of the truck fled the scene and four people were taken to hospital where one person died.
