Thieves get away with $2K worth of computer mice

Guelph Police are investigating the theft of computer mice from a store on Stone Road West.

A man and woman went into the business Monday afternoon and used a tool to pry open a hard case.

Police said they pulled out 12 mice and stuffed them into a bag they were carrying, as well as in their clothes.

The value of the hardware was approximately $2,075.

The man was described as 5’9” to 6’1”, between 35 and 40-years-old, with a medium build and short black hair.

The woman was described as between 30 and 35-years-old, 5’4” to 5’6”, with a medium build and long dark hair.

Police believe they may also be responsible for other incidents.

“It was also reported that the two involved have been reported in neighbouring cities, committing thefts at the same businesses,” a media release stated.
