Man dies after incident on Brantford trail

One person has died after an altercation on a trail in Brantford.

Brantford Police Service officers were called to the trail near Grand River Avenue and Morrell Street on Wednesday around 5 p.m. They were told two men had been involved in a disturbance in the area.

When officers arrived, they found a man with serious injuries. Despite life-saving efforts, the man died.

A second man was also found nearby and taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Investigators believe it was an isolated incident, and no other suspects are wanted by police.
