Home damaged in Brant County shooting

A home in St. George was hit with several shots during an early morning shooting.

Brant County Ontario Provincial Police were called to a home on German School Road on Tuesday around 8 a.m. The homeowner told them his home had been hit by gunfire around 3:10 a.m.

Although no one was hurt, surveillance footage revealed the driver of a dark-coloured vehicle pulled into the home’s driveway and two suspects opened fire, damaging the house and the garage.

The homeowner said he didn’t know the suspects, but police believe it was an isolated incident and said there is no danger to the public.

Anyone who lives in the area is being asked to check security footage for anything suspicious.
