Prior to joining CTV News, Hunter worked for Metroland Media Group, primarily with Toronto.com and YorkRegion.com. His work has also appeared in the Toronto Star, Daily Faceoff, Exclaim Magazine, The Hockey Writers, the London Free Press, Guelph Today and Scribe Magazine.
Hunter graduated from Humber College’s print and broadcast journalism program in 2017. During his time at Humber College, he served as the managing editor and columnist for the school newspaper, Humber Et Cetera.
He has extensive experience in digital media and has reported on federal and provincial elections, Canadian and U.S. politics, pop culture, music and sports.
