The Edmonton Oilers have given four of their pending restricted free agents qualifying offers ahead of Wednesday’s opening of free agency, the National Hockey League team said Monday. The Oilers announced forwards Colton Dach, Roby Jarventie and Owen Michaels, and defenceman Spencer Stastney have received such offers. Dach, Jarventie and Stastney suited up for the Oilers in 2025-26, with Dach the only one who played during the playoffs. The team acquired both Dach and Stastney last season. Dach came to Edmonton at the NHL trade deadline in a deal that also saw centre Jason Dickinson join the Oilers from the Chicago Blackhawks for forward Andrew Mangiapane and a conditional first-round draft pick in 2027. The Oilers traded a 2027 third-round pick to the Nashville Predators for Stastney in December. Dach suited up for eight regular-season games amid injuries, while Stastney played in 36 contests. Jarventie has spent the last two seasons in the Oilers organization after he and a draft pick were acquired in a July 2024 trade with the Ottawa Senators for prospects Xavier Bourgeault and Jake Chiasson. The 23-year-old Finn, who played three games with the Oilers last season, signed a two-year contract with a Swiss pro club in May. The team did not submit qualifying offers to minor-league forwards Josh Bloom and Matvey Petrov. Several Oilers players are set to become unrestricted free agents on Wednesday, including forwards Adam Henrique, Max Jones, Kasperi Kapanen, Curtis Lazar and Jack Roslovic, and goalie Connor Ingram.
