Middlesex OPP say a driver of a transport truck has died following a two-vehicle collision involving another transport truck. The incident happened around 5:40 p.m. Thursday in the westbound lanes of Highway 401 between Highbury Avenue and Veterans Memorial Parkway. The driver of one of the trucks was transported to hospital with life-threatening-injuries, where they were later pronounced deceased. The driver and passenger of the second vehicle were not injured. The westbound lanes between Highbury and Veterans remain closed while police investigate the accident. Updates will be provided when they become available.
