Crews respond to house fire in north west Edmonton

Fire fighters were called to a north Edmonton house fire Thursday. Crews arrived to find flames spreading to a neighbouring house.

Edmonton fire crews responded to a house fire in the Carlton neighbourhood Thursday afternoon.

An email from Edmonton Fire Rescue Services (EFRS) said they arrived at the scene of the fire in the area of 159 Avenue and 134 Street at 2:17 p.m.

A single-family home was affected with flames spreading to a neighbouring home.

Additional crews were called in and the fire was brought under control at 2:57 p.m.

There have been no reported injuries. Crews remain on scene to ensure the fire is fully extinguished.
