Due to elevated levels of bacteria, Alberta Health Services is advising the public not to swim at Enchant Municipal Park Beach. AHS says at current levels, gastrointestinal illness may result from ingesting water at the park. AHS said there is also the possibility of skin, ear and eye infections with water contact. Visitors and residents are reminded to never drink or cook with untreated water directly from any body of water. The advisory will remain in effect until further notice.
