Calgary police are turning to the public in hopes of identifying a man who assaulted someone in a Tim Hortons bathroom in the city’s northeast last week. Police say they were called to the scene of the Sunridge Mall Tim Hortons after an assault took place around 8:30 a.m. on June 23. They say an unknown man approached the victim and allegedly assaulted them “for no apparent reason.” The victim sustained injuries during the attack, police say. The suspect then quickly fled the washroom and drove away in a white vehicle. On Tuesday, police asked for help identifying the suspect. He is described as a 5’5 man in his 30s with a moustache. Police say he was wearing glasses, a blue shirt and a high-visibility construction vest. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 403-266-1234.
