Cool temperatures and patches of fog are how Thursday morning began for residents of Barrie. Although the fog will dissipate during the morning hours, Environment and Climate Change Canada says a 30 per cent chance of precipitation remains until noon. Around noon, the chance of precipitation drops to 20 per cent. The daytime high for Barrie is approximately 21 C and the overnight low is estimated to be 11 C. Cloud cover is also expected to clear out by the afternoon, making way for a clear few hours of sunlight with a UV index of 6.
