Pedestrian hospitalized after being struck by mobility scooter in Calgary southeast

A pedestrian is in hospital after being struck by a mobility scooter Wednesday in southeast Calgary.

Police responded at 1:24 p.m. to Southland Drive S.E. and Wilde Road S.E. after receiving reports of a pedestrian who was struck by someone driving a mobility scooter.

Police say the victim was transported to hospital in non-life-threatening and non-life altering injuries.

The driver of the mobility scooter remained on scene.
