Calgary police say a man who was pinned under a CTrain in the city’s downtown core has died of his injuries. Police were called to the area of Seventh Avenue and Centre Street South just after 5:30 p.m. on May 21 after a man in his 60s crossed the streets against flashing lights and was hit and pinned under the light rail train. The man was extracted and rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition. Police said in a news release Thursday that he had died. The investigation into the incident continues.
