Police in Lethbridge are investigating a reported threat at Lethbridge Collegiate Institute. Officers say staff alerted them early Monday morning after a threat was found written on school property. The message referenced potential harm to students and staff. The school was placed under a full lockdown as a precaution. Nearby schools - St. Francis, École St. Mary, Victoria Park and Catholic Central High School - were also placed under external lockdowns. All lockdowns have since been lifted. Police say they are continuing to investigate the nature of the threat and who may be responsible. They add there is no evidence to suggest an ongoing risk to students or staff.
