A Saskatoon man has been killed in a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 11. The incident happened Tuesday around 4:25 a.m. about a mile north of Hanley, according to RCMP. The 40-year-old man was declared dead at the scene. He was a passenger and one of four people inside the vehicle at the time. His next-of-kin has been notified. RCMP say a second passenger was taken to hospital with what were called non-life-threatening injuries. The driver and other passenger didn’t report any injuries. Mounties are continuing to investigate the collision with help from an RCMP collision reconstructionist. The highway was closed but has since reopened. According to RCMP, there have been 54 fatal collisions with 67 fatalities this year on the roadways Mounties police throughout the province as of 3:30 p.m. Aug.4.
