Kicking Horse Mountain Resort near Golden, B.C., shut down for over an hour Wednesday afternoon for a safety incident. Details about what happened haven’t been released. The resort posted a notice on social media that all guests, staff and Boo the Bear in its grizzly bear refuge were safe. A little after 3 p.m., it posted an update, saying that normal gondola, hiking and biking operations had resumed. The Bear Refuge, Catamount Chair and Eagles Eye Restaurant remain close until Thursday.
