The 2026 Calgary Stampede Grandstand Show is set to return July 3-12 at GMC Stadium, with organizers promising a new production that blends Western themes with live music and large-scale performance elements. Alberta country group High Valley will headline the show across all 10 nights. The band, led by Brad Rempel, is expected to perform a mix of its well-known songs as part of the nightly program. “There’s nothing like the Calgary Stampede,” Rempel said in a press release. “To be back in Alberta and headlining the Grandstand Show is incredibly special for us, and we’re ready to bring everything we’ve got to these 10 nights.” High Valley will be joined by returning performers including the Young Canadians and the Grandstand Band. Organizers say the show will also feature a live DJ combining country and electronic music, alongside a roster of international acts. Among them are The Bello Sisters, known for strength and balance routines, and Duo Soma, whose act involves aerial performance elements. Irish dance group The Gardiner Brothers and thrill act The Sylla Brothers are also scheduled to appear. Producer Mark Eriksen says this year’s theme focuses on combining traditional Western elements with modern staging and visual effects. The evening program will include the Rangeland Derby chuckwagon races and relay races before the Grandstand Show. A co-ordinated drone and pyrotechnic display, set to music by High Valley, is also planned, followed by the nightly fireworks finale.
