A Calgary man has been charged in a Cochrane child luring investigation. Mounties launched the investigation in May after receiving a report from a parent that their child had shared “intimate images” with a stranger online. RCMP say they were able to find the suspect’s phone number and social media accounts by searching the victim’s electronic devices. Police searched the suspect’s Calgary home on Wednesday. Allan (AJ) Rain, 29, is charged with luring a child and possession of child sexual abuse material. He is scheduled to appear in court on Friday. Cochrane RCMP are asking anyone with additional information about the incident to call them at 403-932-2211. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
