Banff to host 2025 ‘Made with Love’ food, cocktail festival in April

Banff’s cocktail and culinary scene will be centre stage in April with the Made With Love Banff food and cocktail festival.

“The atmosphere is great,” festival founder Pierre-Olivier Trempe told CTV News. “It’s light, it’s having a good time and really you can feel it everywhere in town.”

Trempe says there are 100 restaurants within only four-square-kilometres in Banff, with bartenders from many of those establishments competing for the $5,000 top prize and a trip to Italy.

The first weekend of Made With Love – April 25 and 26 - includes a ticketed event on Bear Street with tasting stations, live entertainment and music.

It runs from April 22 to May 4.

Trempe says many cultures have helped enliven Banff’s bar and restaurant scene, as people have come from across Canada and the world to work in the mountain community.

“When you mix cultures, usually, it happens to bring a lot of positive things. It brings more quality,” Trempe said.
