2 suspects sought in Taradale shooting investigation: police

Calgary police are asking for the public’s help identifying two suspects in a shooting last August in the northeast community of Taradale.

Police say the shooting occurred in the early hours of Aug. 8, when two men were exiting a vehicle outside a home in the 100 block of Tarawood Grove N.E.

Around 2:29 a.m., a newer black truck arrived on scene. Two suspects got out of the truck and fired multiple rounds at the men, shooting both of them, before fleeing the scene.

The victims—two men in their 20s—were taken to hospital in life-threatening condition but have since stabilized and continue their recovery.

Police say after “exhausting all investigative avenues to identify the suspects,” they’re asking for public help.

The first suspect is described as a man with a medium build, while the second is described as a woman with a thin build. Police say both suspects were wearing dark hoodies.
