Provincial police are investigating a fatal ATV crash that happened in Severn Township Sunday evening. According to Orillia OPP, emergency crews were dispatched to a single-vehicle ATV crash at around 8:30 p.m. on Laughlin Falls Road between Lovering Line and Taylor Line. Police say the 26-year-old male rider was pronounced dead at the scene despite life-saving efforts by first responders. Laughlin Falls Road was closed in the area for several hours as the OPP’s Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) unit helped with the on-scene investigation. The area reopened just after midnight. Anyone who witnessed the incident and anyone with footage that may help the ongoing investigation is asked to come forward. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
