2 children injured in northeast Calgary hit-and-run: police

Calgary police are searching for a man driving a grey sedan who did not stop after hitting two children with his car in Taradale.

Calgary police say they are looking for a male driver after two children were involved in a hit-and-run in the community of Taradale.

Police say they were called to the area of Taravista Drive and Taralake Gardens N.E. at around 2:40 p.m. Friday after a car hit two child pedestrians.

The children were taken to hospital with minor injuries as a precaution.

The driver did not remain on scene.

Police say the search for the driver, who is described as a man with a long black beard and driving a grey sedan, continues.
