Sudden death in Oro-Medonte ‘not suspicious’ police say

Provincial police have confirmed a death in Oro-Medonte, but details are scarce.

Police received a call for service on Wednesday at approximately 11:30 a.m.

The death happened near the Bass Lake boat launch.

OPP say the nature of the death is not suspicious and due to the “sensitive nature” of the investigation, no further information will be released.

There is no word on charges, nor any information on the age or gender of the deceased.
