Lawrencetown man wanted on provincewide arrest warrant: N.S. RCMP

A Lawrencetown, N.S., man is wanted on a provincewide arrest warrant.

The RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment says Jeffrey Wayne Grant, 47, is facing the following charges:

• two counts of impaired driving
• two counts of dangerous operation of a conveyance
• two counts of refusing demand
• two counts of flight from police
• two counts of driving while disqualified
• two counts of assaulting a peace officer
• four counts of resisting arrest
• four counts of failing to comply with a release order
• possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
• two counts of trespassing at night

Police describe Grant as five-foot-seven, 135 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

“Police have made several attempts to locate Grant and are requesting assistance from the public,” reads a news release from the Nova Scotia RCMP.

Police are asking anyone with information on Grant’s whereabouts to call RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment at 902-490-5020, their local police, or Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
