Waterloo Regional Police are looking for a hit and run driver. On Aug. 19, an eight-year-old was riding a bicycle on the grass near Parkvale Drive and Bianca Court. Police said a Honda CR-V drove off the road and hit the child around 3:15 p.m. “The driver continued through the grass area, returned to the roadway, and failed to remain at the scene of the collision,” they wrote in a media release. Police said the child’s injuries were non-life-threatening. On Monday, they released two images of a similar vehicle and the driver. “Police are looking to identify and speak with the individual pictured below in connection to this investigation,” police said.
