Residents of Innisfil are being asked to plan ahead and roadwork is underway in town. The County of Simcoe says the intersection of County Road 4 and 9th Line, which was recently converted into a roundabout, will be closed as paving and line painting operations need to be completed. The closure will begin at 7 a.m. next Wednesday and take until Friday to complete. In the meantime, local access to residences and businesses will be maintained, the county says. However, additional traffic will be asked to take a detour through via McKay Road and Innisfil Beach Road.
